The Turriga Isola dei Nuraghi is a red wine produced by 
Cantina Argiolas, the most famous Sardinian wine-growing 
company and present on the Italian and world wine market 
with several successful labels. 
One of these is the Turriga, a wine born in 1988 by Giacomo 
Tachis, who over the years has become a leading product 
of the Argiolas Cellar and is distinguished by its elegance and 
Turriga is obtained from the combination of some of the main
red grape varieties of Sardinia: Cannonau, Carignano, Bovale 
These grapes, the percentage of which varies according to 
the vintages, is also added in a small percentage of Malvasia 

Medium limestone composition, some pebbles and stones, 
loose rocky layers

Mediterranean, mild winters, limited rainfall, very hot and 
windy summers.

Vinification technique 
Painstaking selection of the grapes. Fermentation at controlled
 temperature 28-32°C.
Maceration for about 16-18 days with good use of the 
delestage technique.

18-24 months in new French oak barriques.

For 12-14 months in the bottle.
